A person's bag gives an idea of the wearer's daily activities, way of life, even beliefs, while no one can guess the actual contents of the bag. Yes, it can be guessed, but no one really knows…"
Kadri Kruus graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts and later worked at the same school as a master, lecturer and as an associate professor. Since the beginning of 2020, she has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the Estonian Academy of Arts.

In the early years of her creative path, Kadri won several awards around the world:

2005 Fashion Design Scolarship Competition "Dressing Codes 2005", bag "Meander", special prize, Domus Academy, Italy.
2006 Competition / exhibition "Cumulus - European Ways of Life", multifunctional bag "Shibori", recognized work, Nantes, France.
2008 Competition XVIII Concurso Internacional de Jovenes Disenadores de Calzado "Lapiz de Oro", shoes "Feel like", second prize, Elda, Spain.
2010 Competition XIX Concurso Internacional de Jovenes Disenadores de Calzado "Lapiz de Oro", shoes "Walking on air", special prize, Elda, Spain.
2011 International competition "Design-A-Bag", the bag "Mesh" received a recognition in the finals, Hong Kong, China.

In 2011, Kadri Kruus created a brand with her own name, which combines controversy and opposition with the handicraft traditions passed on from master to master.

2013 presentation of the collection at the London Fashion Week within the International Showcase (Kristina Viirpalu, Karl Annus, Kristian Steinberg, designer Helen Sirp), the main prize of the competition.
2013 Collection presentation at the Creative Industry Fair ICIF, Shenzhen, China.
2016 The Golden Needle (nominee) is an Estonian fashion design award. This award ceremonie is part of the Tallinn Fashion Week program.
2019 Golden Needle House (main prize) is an Estonian accessory design award. This award ceremonie is part of the Tallinn Fashion Week program.
